Whatever the background and history to marriage, it is still a legal union between two people; until the marriage certificate is signed by the bride, groom and witnesses, the ceremony is not finalized. The man getting married is called the groom or bridegroom to give him his full title and the woman the bride; once they are married they known as the wife and husband.
As soon as you look outside of your own race, religious and social group, the wedding tradition can become very complex. Planning a wedding will obviously require tons of careful decisions and organizations so that everything will go according to what is planned. One of crucial things a couple will encounter is deciding on their wedding programs. These wedding stationeries are meant to help the guests follow the event proceedings. Aside from that, wedding programs are one of the keepsakes that couples will more likely cherish and treasure for the years to come.
Wedding programs don’t have to be too elaborate. In fact, they can be as simple as handwritten one-page leaflets. But for couples who opt for custom-ordered bound booklet, they have to look for such online or in a local specialty store.
Ceremony programs basically include several parts of the wedding ceremony: Introduction; Ceremony Proceedings; The Wedding Party and other VIPs; and some acknowledgment to both sets of family, to all the guests, and memorials of deceased relatives.
Under the Introduction is a summary of the basics that includes the bride’s and groom’s full names, wedding date, and location.
It will be followed by the Ceremony
Many women choose to alleviate some of the wedding planning stress by hiring a wedding consultant. If you are thinking about hiring a wedding consultant, no doubt you want to make sure that you hire someone that is qualified in this field. It can be a bit difficult to know what to look for in a wedding consultant, so below are six tips that will help you pick out a qualified wedding consultant that will make your wedding go smoothly.
Tip #1 – Check for a Business License – One thing that you need to do when you are picking a wedding consultant is to be sure that they have a business license or a DBA registration. You do not want to just pick out anyone to do this for your wedding, so be sure that they are truly in the consulting business before you give them any money. If they have no business license, you may want to consider looking elsewhere.
Tip #2 – Check Referrals – Make sure that you get referrals from the prospective wedding consultant and check them. You may also want to ask your friends and family members if they are

Tip #1 – Know your budget. Tip #2 – Use the wedding favors as a way to represent your wedding

A fun wedding trend is hosting a wedding with a theme. Wedding couples across the country are thinking of ways to create an unforgettable ceremony and reception. Creating a theme adds your personality to the celebration’s look and tone. It can be as decorative, modern or traditional as you prefer. It helps build continuity throughout your planning so it easier to make decoration, location and program decisions.
Fashioning A Theme
Ideas for a theme are often selected based on your personal tastes, preferences and about how you want your wedding remembered. Choose your theme as you start its planning so the location, decorations and apparel are coordinated. Reserve time for a brainstorming session with your fiancé to discover what appeals to each of you. It could be as simple as a color combination, graphic symbol or a pattern like tropical plants or stripes. It could be a shared memory, such as a European adventure or how you met while learning a sport or attending a friend’s holiday party. You may even consider a quote or music to inspire your selection. Next, let your imagination loose as you apply the theme to two areas, such as the cake

Go ahead and get your Save the Date cards ordered (and get some extras just in case you want to send more out later).
Stamps. It can be easy to overlook stamps until you get ready to

Taking the photos of the family can be quite stressful. The guests are running about everywhere and people are in a ‘festive mood’ which means the drink will be flowing to the point where it can be very chaotic. Either you or the Groom should select a family member who can be the ‘coordinator’ of the photograph. The family member can round everyone up, help get them in the shot and keep things moving so that the couple can get back to the party.
Pre-visit the Location It is vital that you visit the place where the ceremony will take place and the venue for the reception before the day so that you can find all the best vantage points for the photos. Although professional photographers do not do this – as a novice you will find it helpful to know about the location so you have an idea of a few positions for photos and to know how the light might affect you on the day. I think it is an even bigger advantage if you can visit the location with the couple so you can a few test shots
1. A travel agent can do wonders.
Even if your wedding is not too far off the beaten path, a reliable travel agent can negotiate airfare rates and hotel accommodations far better than others. They can also prove to be a reliable resource for your guests as they plan to travel to the unknown.
2. Manage your expectations around the guest list.
Don’t be disappointed if you don’t have as many guests as you’d thought. The truth of the matter is, destination weddings can be hard on guests, particularly if they haven’t had enough time to plan. The time has come to plan the wedding. The Bride is all excited and bubbly with dreamy ideas, but often there is less enthusiasm expressed by the groom. They arrive at the church. The minister welcomes the bridal couple to his office. They sit and begin discussing the wedding. The groom appears a bit fidgety.
The groom responds, “I do not really why I am here.”
This is a fairly common situation. While girls may dream of their wedding day for a lifetime, most boys only come to consider the wedding as a means to marriage. It is often an afterthought. As a result many grooms feel awkward, unprepared, even threatened by this experience.
As the groom approaches their wedding with all the planning, social gatherings, and fanfare there can be many stresses and strains encountered. Relationships often experience extreme pressures during this time. In many ways, how these pressures, stresses, and strains are managed can affect not only the wedding itself but marriage and extended relationships for years.
How can the groom strengthen his marriage and thrive throughout the wedding?
To begin with, are you really sure you want to get married?

Use this money saving tip when considering flowers
Also, try to find deals. Deals, for instance, on wedding dresses can be found, that is if you don’t mind a used dress. In order to save money on the wedding, online stores are good destinations for this. On a side note, don’t buy dresses from a wedding store, such as David’s Bridal. By searching at a local Macy’s or JCPenny’s, you can find nice, prim looking dresses for half or maybe a third of the price (or more if you’re lucky).
Breaking away from traditional plans, many men and women these days are choosing to get married at their favorite beach destination. Although the wedding preparation routines are similar, you can still go green for the planet, and the results will have a positive environmental impact.
To go natural, here are the top five eco-friendly beach wedding tips to consider as you plan your destination wedding.
1. Rather than throwing rice or other objects at the bride and groom, why not equip everyone in the bridal party with nontoxic soap in containers so they can blow bubbles at the smiling couple as they walk past? Alternatively, have everyone toss organic bird seed at the newly married couple.
2. In the restrooms, use terry cloth towels and natural soap, or paper towels that have been recycled.
3. For table decorations or for lining the walkway to the altar on the beach, why not use potted plants or flowering plants? After the ceremony, the gets can take the plants back to their rooms to enjoy them. On the other hand, if your guests are flying out the next day, then think about renting the plants. Either way,
